Study Stereo ("the service", at studystereo.com) is operated by Matthew Isaac Rosenberg ("we", "us"). When you use the service or buy a plan, your agreement is with Matthew Isaac Rosenberg. Contact: matt@studystereo.com.
By using Study Stereo you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission. If you use Study Stereo for an organization, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.
Study Stereo is a study tool with a focus timer, built-in music and ambience, interview, study and homework planners, and an AI study coach. A free plan is available. Study Stereo Plus (monthly, yearly or a one-time Lifetime purchase) removes the daily AI coach limit and adds Plus perks.
Keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for activity on your account and for giving us accurate information.
You must not misuse the service. That includes using it for anything unlawful, fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; uploading malware; probing, scraping or interfering with the service's security or infrastructure; reverse engineering it; reselling or redistributing it; or getting around usage limits.
The AI coach generates text automatically. You're responsible for what you ask it, for how you use its answers, and for having the right to any content you put in. Answers can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important, and don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. You must not use the AI to create illegal content, hate speech, harassment, deepfakes or malware, or try to bypass its safeguards. We may filter, refuse or remove content and restrict accounts that break these rules. If you believe content made with the service infringes your rights, email us and we'll review and remove it where appropriate. Repeat infringers will lose access.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, renewals and cancellations are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from Manage billing and keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. See our Refund Policy.
We own Study Stereo, including its software, design, original music, documentation and branding. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under your plan. You keep ownership of what you write in it, and you give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.
We work to keep Study Stereo running well, but it is provided "as is" and we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost data, profits or goodwill), and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law doesn't allow it.
We may suspend or end your access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, or a security or fraud risk. You can stop using the service at any time. If your access ends, you can ask us to export or delete your saved data.
We may update these terms. If changes are significant we'll tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Study Stereo after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Matthew Isaac Rosenberg resides, unless your local consumer law gives you rights that can't be waived.
